WBEN Buffalo has a beep at the top of each hour, and they have been doing it for
years. They also used to use a double beep at the half hour. WKBW took the beep idea
long after WBEN ran it, and frequently KB's time tone was inaccurate. I used to think
they kept it on a cart, and that it wasn't automatically generated! :-)
