for BBC World Service. Since then we have been deluged.
Many people write with information, or with requests for programme
guides etc. That's fine.
However, a lot of people write asking for details of the BBC's
e-mail news service. Most of them seem to have read the headline
of the article but not the article itself.
Let me make this perfectly clear. BBC World Service does *NOT*, to
my knowledge, have any sort of e-mail news service. We do, however,
have an e-mail address for CORRESPONDENCE. It is
Any mail to that address goes to the International Audience Correspondence
department, which handles incoming mail and which will deal with e-mail
in much the same way as it does with letters.
