What ever happened to the Radio Shack Multiband Self-Powered Radio,
Catalog Number 12-803. The radio shack guy said it had been
discontinued. Is there any place to still buy them?

The ONLY thing Radio Shack makes is some crappy Coax cable. Everything else
they carry is sourced for them by other companies. Check out on line at
their site as to exactly who make that RCVR for them and see if its still
marketed by them. A lot of their RVCRS were made by "Sangean" a well
respected company worldwide...Eddie
