it is a steal, top performance--well, no. But then, with a robust
antenna it is great--a BFO would be nice for side band ... and if I lose
it? No big deal, only $29 bucks....
You could do worse ...

Happy New Year
I'm SHOCKED that no one here has even mentioned the GREAT Bell &
Howell Radio:
sold by "AsSeenOnTVGuys" (and that says it all!).
Just ignore those two "negative" reviews of this fine instrument
posted on Amazon's site. They were no doubt written by government
agents ("shills" in a negative sense) who are trying to dissuade
people from buying sophisticated radios which are capable of tuning
broadcasts over which the government has no control. Nefarious indeed!
When you own this one of these radios, who needs AOR, Drake, JRC,
ICOM, Eton/Grundig, Sony, Degen/Kaito, Sangean, etc. and all those
other overpriced ones?
Best,
Joe
