I've seen some info that indicates that they sent out some cards after 2002, but it seems as
though they were generic n/d cards.

Not sure about BBC, but Deutsche Welle certainly had a relay station.

I have QSL's from IBRA Radio which I think used the DW station, as well as Xandir Malta
which used 9670 back in 1982 for their "Malta Calling" program.

I think Libya also used Malta as a relay for a time as I think I have a QSL for that as
well.

You don't listen (although it is quite musical); you see text printed on
your computer screen.

My internet radio uses WiFi to connect to the web.

I have 2 HF radios on right now, one on 7035 the the other on 10140. I
have a BCT* winking away in my face, and yes I'm listening to the Beeb
via the web. So *** you.

It ain't "Obama's" idea and it ain't a "Kill Switch".  Lieberman
introduced the bill to which you refer, in the 111th Congress.  The
bill died in committee and was wiped off the books when the 111th
ended.  Lieberman has introduced Bill S. 413 in a second attempt.

See:

http://hsgac.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Press.MajorityNew...

"Lieberman: "Yet, some have suggested that our legislation would
empower the President to deny U.S. citizens access to the Internet.
Nothing could be further from the truth.  We would never sign on to
legislation that authorized the President, or anyone else, to shut
down the Internet. Emergency or no, the exercise of such broad
authority would be an affront to our Constitution."

The Kill Switch falls into the same category as Death Panels.
