Er, that's Midnight to 3 AM on the West Coast of North America.
It's just as good, or better at a more sane hour.

1.  The BBC 9740 comes in until 16:00, sunspots premitting.  (Been real
crummy this year so far).  6195 and  5975 from about 13:00 and an hour on
6040 (15:00?) are better bets.

2. Radio Aus is good until 14:00 on 9580, and a bit later on 9590,
and starts up on 7240 at 14:00.  Also 6020 (by 12:00 for sure) then
5995 at 14:00.

3. RNZI is down in the 6 MHz band later on.  5950, I think.

Hour of the Wolf radio listening.  Sometimes I'm up then, too, but not
if I can help it.

VOA is also there on 9760 in the early hours.  And Radio Netherlands does
their hour in English on 11675 , aimed at the east coast at 12:00 UTC.

Quote:>I will have to see what I can hear in the other time slots:

Ah, the dead zone.  Maybe Cuba, maybe Russia, maybe New Zealand.
(And the usual crowd of US bible pushers).  Australia is often faded
out on their 17 MHz frequencies.  And it's too late for the BBC 15 MHz
stuff from Asia, and their Africa stuff isn't getting here this year.
And Radio Netherlands is either Spanish or Dutch until 9 PM.  Wait for
Summer, or some more sunspots.
