I tried it a few times and couldn't get it to do anything.

  I have had a little better luck than Paul, but haven't been too
terribly impressed with it.  I've still got it, but haven't used in in
months -- how about sharing some of those tips -- I'll wager it will cause
a few of us to dust off the audio patch cable and try it again!
