Subject: HCJB read MY letter.
Right after I started learning Esperanto, I wrote a leter to HCJB
requesting
Esperanto penpals. I wrote it in English, Spanish and Esperanto.
I heard from one English speaker and one Spanish speaker (from Peru)
but NO
Esperantists. Oh well.

Well, first, we don't have Esperanto broadcasts. Second, when I
give out penpal requests on Saludos Amigos, who writes, what language
they write in, what they say is out of my control. But we did have a
couple a few years ago who met through Saludos and were later married,
so maybe that will help make up for the lack of an Esperanto response!
