Mac MultiMode - RTTY/CW/FAX decoding s/w for the Macintosh

Post by Chris Smolins » Sun, 10 Aug 1997 04:00:00

Just a brief announcement that version 0.4.0 of Mac MultiMode is now
available for downloading.

Mac MultiMode allows your PowerMac to decode the following types of
signals, without any additional hardware:

Morse Code
RTTY (Baudot & ASCII)
SITOR-A
WEFAX

Just run the audio from your receiver to your Mac's microphone input.

Version 0.4.0 is a major upgrade from the previous version 0.3.1. The user
interface has been dramatically improved, additional modes have been added,
digital filtering has been improved, and the program is now compiled for a
PowerPC processor for optimum performance.

Mac MultiMode is currently under development, and is freeware. It does
require a Mac with a PowerPC processor.

It may be downloaded from the following web page:

This is just what I've been waiting for!  BUT sadly I have a 68040 mac
with AV capabilities, NOT a PPC mac.  What would it take to make this
software usable with a 660AV or 840AV?
