I know C Crane co offers to mod these at purchase, with the mod to
stop the volume from cutting out during tuning/scanning. I picked
mine up used (for about half the going rate, too) and would like to
find this mod.
Google and Altavista searches for DX-392 mods and ATS818 mods don't
turn up anything but the C Crane co page, and I don't see anything in
QRZ for either model. Any ideas?
