Thanks in advance.

Mr. Dell,

Here are Five "Do-It-Yourself" ANTENNA TUNER UNITS
with Schematic Diagrams ETC for your Consideration:

*  The Z-Match {An Update} - by Charlie Lofgren [W6JJZ]
ATU=>  http://www.seboldt.net/k0jd/z-match.html
SCHEMATIC=>  http://www.seboldt.net/k0jd/z-match.html#schematic

*  Link-Coupled Antenna Tuners - by L. B. Cebik [W4RNL]
ATU=>  http://www.cebik.com/link/link.html
Reference=>  http://www.cebik.com/link/link5.html
"A more classic alternative is the link-coupled or inductively
coupled ATU. The figure shows the basic circuitry. The unbalanced
input is inductively coupled to the main inductor. Since the
mutual inductance between the coils is critical for maximum
efficiency, the coupling is varied either by a movable link or
by a series input capacitor."

Here is a Simple Shortwave Pre-Selector or "L" Type Antenna
Tuner that will work great on most of the newer Shortwave
Receivers and even for the older ones.
